Who We Are

The Flaxbourne Heritage Trust was formed shortly after the devastating 2016 Kaikoura earthquake that destroyed our old Ward Museum. Years of hard work, planning, and resolve have come together in a new, exciting, and modern way to showcase our rich and wonderful history.
